Back in 2000, I did a small and modest addition to a house I owned since 1987, built in 1957, this addition won the Wood Design Awards in 2003 from Canada. Now in 2018, with a new owner, a second story addition is underway that captures the sun and ocean breezes, top of the hill in Point Loma.
